Believe me--it took me landing into a sea of unrelenting panic attacks--convinced I was dying--and receiving a life-altering diagnosis of cancer to finally realize it was time to wake up and smell the coffee.
The go-go-go "bigger, better, faster, stronger, more accomplished, more achievements" mentality didn't get me feeling more calm, accomplished, or appreciated. The truth is, for most busy professionals, it's so hard to maintain our energy (and sanity) when we're working so hard -- giving away so much -- to help others maintain and grow their own lives.
But the truth is -- it's possible to do more with less by S-L-O-W-I-N-G D-O-W-N and getting crystal clear on what we truly love and value.
